Note: This week is a busy one as far as events. We have the Great CA Shake-Out on Thursday where we will be practicing being earthquake safe in our classroom. Please help your child with the Home Hazard Hunt paper. This helps you to keep your home safe in the event of an earthquake. Also, the Math-a-thon is this Friday. All students will be given the test and it will count as a grade. It is on the addition facts. Please help your child practice the facts.
More news: We will be doing a Religion collage on Tuesday and I am asking for donations of magazines for that day. The students will be cutting pictures out of them so I will need to keep them. Thank you for your help!!
Some students have not turned in their money for the field trip. Please send it in as soon as possible. It looks like I have enough drivers. Thank you parents for driving!!
One more bit of information that is extremely important in keeping our children healthy. The Center For Disease Control recommends that students that become sick during the current flu season remain home for at least 24 hours after the fever is gone without the use of any fever reducing medicine, such as Tylenol.
