Homework for Nov. 2-5
Monday:
- Write each spelling word 5x.
- Read for twenty minutes and record in reading log.
- Study and memorize your assigned math facts.
- Study your vocabulary words. You will be tested on them on Thursday.
Tuesday:
- Write a story using as many of the vocabulary words as you can.
- Read the Decodable Book.
- Study your math facts.
Wednesday:
- Read the koala story to your parents and have them time you for sixty seconds. See how many words you can read.
- Do the assigned excel math homework.
Thursday:
- Study the Religion notes for Friday's test.
- Take a spelling pretest and write any misspelled word 5x.
- Read the science paper on baby animals and their parents.
Note: Congratulations to second grade for coming in second place in the Red Ribbon Poem Contest! Second Grade is too busy to do drugs. We're too busy!!
Also, parents please continue to assist your child in reading. The Bats reading paper that is in your child's homework folder is an example of reading for fluency and understanding. I will be assigning stories like that for homework from time to time. Please help your child read the story and answer the questions, if included. All the students received a star on that paper because I assisted them. Thank you for your help.
