Homework for February 1-4

Monday: Twin/Buddy Day

1. Write each spelling word 7x.
2. Study your assigned math facts.
3. Study the vocabulary words for Friday's test.
4. Read the Decodable Book.

Tuesday: Generation Day- Second Graders dress in the 80s

1. Do excel homework #49.
2. Do Spelling Skill Builders (choose one of the five activities to practice the spelling words).
3. Practice saying the U-Pick It Words.
4. Do the paper on High Frequency Words.

Wednesday: Brain-rest Afternoon and Dancing with the Teachers

1. Study your math facts.
2. Study the Religion notes for Friday's test.
3. Take a spelling pretest and write any misspelled word 7x.
4. Study the vocabulary words.

Thursday: Career Day

1. No homework because of the PTG Performance.
2. Relax and be ready to show how wonderful you are!!!

Reminders:

The Second Grade PTG Performance is this Thursday, February 4th. Please have your child bring his/her outfit to school on that day. I will let the students change during lunch recess for the dress rehearsal which starts at 12:45. The night performance starts at 6:00 p.m. I am asking that all the students be in the classroom no later than 5:40. Remember that the girls are wearing pretty dresses. The boys are wearing long pants, a long sleeve shirt and a tie. I will keep the fedoras and sashes in the classroom and give them to the students when they arrive. I am so proud of how hard they have been working and I think they are just adorable! I know you will agree!!!

Don't forget the Reconciliation meeting on February 8th at 6:30 in church. The students will be making their candles for their Reconciliation on March 8th.

There will be no tutoring this week due to a faculty meeting.
