Homework for February 16-18
Tuesday:
- Write each spelling word 7x.
- Study the vocabulary words.
- Read for twenty minutes and record in reading log.
- Study your math facts.
Wednesday (Ash Wednesday):
- Read the poem Little Skunk's Hole and answer the questions.
- Share the Lent wheel with your family.
- Do the assigned math paper on regrouping.
- Study the spelling words using the Spelling Skill Builders.
Thursday:
- Take a spelling pretest and write any misspelled word 10x.
- Study the math facts.
- Read the Patterns story "Frog and Toad."
Notes
Second Grade will be having a Family Reading Night on February 22nd from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the second grade classroom. Please bring in your favorite books, a pillow or blanket, and your family. We will be going over reading strategies such as inference, main idea, facts and opinions, words in context, and decoding. I hope to see all my second graders that night!
