Lots of notes!!! First of all, a big thanks to Myrna Cordova, Edna Aguirre, and Michael and Adrienne Rodriguez for the wonderful Valentine's Day luncheon and party! It was so nice of you and we truly enjoyed ourselves.
Next, we will be reviewing our addition and subtraction facts this week. No multiplication tests. Now that we are regrouping in subtraction, I am noticing that some of the students are forgetting their facts. They may practice by doing First In Math or anyway that helps them remember the facts.
Finally, please send in the five dollars and sign-in sheet for the St. Patrick's basket. Thank you for help.

First Reconciliation News!
The date for Reconciliation is March 3rd at 9:00 in the morning. I will escort the class to the church and all parents are welcome to attend. My students are so prepared and I am so proud of them!! Mrs. Long has stated that because it is such a special day all the second graders get to wear their Sunday best to school. This means dress nicely just like when you attend Mass on Sunday. We will be having a little celebration right after in the classroom.

Also, I am going to have a store in the classroom during Centers to help the students practice counting change. They will be buying small items using play money. Donations of small prizes are welcome.
Our Valentine's Day party will be on February 14th. We will be exchanging valentines in the classroom. Please have your child sign only his/her name on each valentine. It takes too long to pass them out if they are individually addressed. I have 13 girls and 7 boys. Thank you for all your help!!
