Homework for May 31-June 2

Tuesday:

1. Write each spelling word 5x.
2. Study the vocabulary words.
3. Do the assigned math paper.
4. Read the Decodable Book.

Wednesday:

1. Read the science story about Matter.
2. Do the assigned reading and writing paper.
3. Do the assigned math paper.
4. Share the Religion paper with your family.

Thursday:

1. Take a spelling pretest and write any misspelled word 5x.
2. Study the vocabulary words.
3. Read the Decodable Book.
4. Do the assigned math paper.

Notes: There will be no more math facts quizzes given. Please continue to help your child with the math facts: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. It is important to review them often during the summer. Also, have your child read daily in order to increase reading fluency and comprehension. Thank you for your help.

Our Awards Ceremony will be on June 7th at 9:45 in the classroom. Hope to see you all there!

HOMEWORK FOR MAY 23-26

Monday:

1. Write each spelling word 5x.
2. Read the Decodable Book.
3. Study the multiplication facts (0's, 2's, 5's, and 10's).
4. Do the paper on sequencing.

Tuesday:

1. Study the fact families paper for multiplication and division.
2. Do the assigned reading paper.
3. Do the paper on long and short vowel patterns.

Wednesday:

1. Write a story using as many spelling words as you can.
2. Do the assigned math paper.
3. Read the Decodable Book.

Thursday: Free Dress for a dollar to help tornado victims.

1. Take a spelling pretest and write any misspelled word 5x.
2. Study the Religion notes for Friday's test.
3. Study the multiplication and division fact families.

Notes: We are now all learning multiplication and division. I will be giving a multiplication and division test this Friday on the 2's, 5's, and 10's. Please practice these facts with your child. This test will be in place of the weekly math facts quiz.

Please send in your child's Character Matters costume to school by this Tuesday for the performance on Thursday. Thank you!

If you are interested in ordering a DVD of your child's First Holy Communion, please send in ten dollars by May 27th. Also write your child's name on the envelope and May 14th. Thank you again for your help.

Last note- no vocabulary test this week.

2. Do the paper on letter patterns.
3. Read the Decodable Book.
4. Listen to the Character Matters CD.

Wednesday:

1. Write a story using as many spelling and/or vocabulary words as possible.
2. Read the Decodable Book.
3. Do the assigned math paper.

Thursday:

1. Study the Religion notes for Friday's test.
2. Take a spelling pretest and write any misspelled word 5x.
3. Study the vocabulary words and math facts.

Next, remember that this Wednesday, May 11, is the practice for First Communion. It starts at 6:30 in the Church.
